Born in Ireland, James always had a love for the English language. He soon realised that the skills of being able to read, write, and speak well were regularly being overlooked.
In this day and age where jobs are scarce and the future of the market is uncertain, it is only those who can communicate their value clearly and concisely that will survive.
After completing his degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Limerick, he set out abroad to begin his teaching career.
After four years in Portugal, James settled down in Budapest where he found a home, as well as many people in need of English improvement!
Twelve years later, with all his experience and knowledge gathered into one course, James founded Promotion English, a company dedicated to helping Hungarian professionals increase their value in the workplace, and from this, their career prospects.
Many Hungarians know quite a lot of English, but just are not comfortable with speaking it. This is such a shame, as confident English skills can open many doors, whether that be in business, friendship or more.
